Mothers Day 2024 is on the later side this year, on May 12th

Check u-pick ticket availability here: 🎟️ https://bit.ly/tulipsgalore

Because of variations in temperature and bloom times, we do not suggest waiting to get tickets for Mother's Day if you have earlier options to visit. We cannot be sure we will be open at any farm well into May, or still be in peak bloom. We just don't know until approximately 6 days beforehand!

Many guests celebrate Mom's Day at an earlier time when you can be sure our fields are "wow-worthy." U-Pick tulips can last a while at home with proper care, so she'll likely still be enjoying her bouquet on Mother's Day.💐

Yes, as long as you contact us via email within 24 hours of placing your order and the date for the ticket purchased is a minimum of 48 hours away.  We are not able to do a direct exchange. Please go ahead and purchase a new ticket. We will cancel/refund the earlier transaction later. We will be extremely busy during the few weeks that we are open so it could take us about a week to process the refund.  It could take an additional 7-10 business days to show up on your statement after we process it.  Thank you for your patience.

Sorry, no,  Any Day tickets are only good for the year for which they were purchased. For 2024, only 2024 Any Day Tickets will be accepted. They may however, be used at any location while it is open.

Yes, however, if you don't feel comfortable with us touching your mobile device, we can look it up by your order # or name or you can print your ticket and bring it on paper.

Unfortunately, sold out is sold out. We wish we could accommodate these requests, but we honestly get so many of them that one more ticket turns into 100+ tickets on our end. Please, do not call or email about an extra ticket but do post on our Facebook page that you are looking for one. Sometimes folks can’t use the tickets they purchased or a friend cancels.

No, that is not how we designed that pass. It will only work once at each farm!

We want you to enjoy the unique beauty of each of our 3 tulip fields!

Indeed.  We have to be strict with this policy to organize a safe and pleasant event for everyone.

Tickets are required and must be purchased online. You may NOT purchase tickets at the door.

As much as we hate to do it, we have to turn you away if you arrive without a ticket. We limit the number of people entering our field to make this event pleasant for everyone. Thank you for understanding.  For 2024, tickets will be sold by time slot to limit the number of people in the fields at one time. Tickets are always location-specific (IE Exeter, Johnston, OR Preston)

Thank you for understanding.

Yes, usually this is not an issue. We have several benches and picnic tables scattered around the fields handy for anyone who needs to rest and enjoy the scenery. Benches are first come first served, but our visitors are good people and would be happy to share if needed. 😀

No need!  Just come to any open farm during the regular business hours with your scannable code.

We staff our fields and only allow a limited number of visitors each day, so your experience is always pleasant and blooms are always plentiful. For this reason, we must charge for each adult who enters. Thank you for understanding.

If you do not want your ticket's included 10 tulips, you may donate them to a local organization. Just talk to any Team Tulip member!

While we do love all sorts of pets-dogs, cats, and goldfish, we cannot allow them at the farms.  Of course, valid service animals are allowed.

YES!  Adult General Admission Tickets:

      Weekday Tickets are $20

      Weekends $23

      Kids (ages 5- 17) $5 anytime

Once you arrive, you may stay until closing. Weekday afternoons are an exceptionally pleasant time to bring snacks & drinks and visit with friends and co-workers.

Please don't worry. We only release tickets for any farm when it is "wow-worthy."

Meaning, we only release tickets in limited numbers/batches when we feel confident the fields and tulips will be beautiful and your experience a happy one.

At the very end of a farm's season, we *may* choose to open the fields for "end of season discount days" which means you can visit at a lower price, and these days are clearly labeled as such within ticketing calendar. These days are still beautiful, but maybe don't have the field color that makes photos so spectacular. SHOW GARDENS, however, will still be in bloom!

Please check your spam folder. 90% of the time, your email confirmation will be in there!  Look for senders teamtulip@wickedtulips.com and Wicked Tulips Tickets, and similar names.

No, you will receive separate tickets for each person which you can print or email  to allow friends/family to check in at different times.

No. We are open rain or shine. Even in the rain our tulips have the power to make you happy! In previous years, most people still came on rainy days, just wear appropriate attire.

No, kids tickets are never sold out!  We believe it is important for kids to get outside and explore nature, so we don't want to take away an opportunity for any child  to visit our farm.

No. Each ticket is for a specific farm, and your scannable code can only be authenticated at the farm listed on the ticket. Please double-check your ticket and visit on the date and place listed.

YES!! Self-wrapping stations with paper and tape are here for your use!

You will also have the option of having us wrap your tulips for you for a small fee in which a portion will be donated to a local charity. Learn more about "pay to wrap" here.

We recommend bringing your own water for transporting your tulips home.  Please bring your tulip water in a separate container than what you will be using for picking your tulips; you don't want to carry the water around with you in the fields!

We will not have drinking water available, so be sure to bring your own; there is no water source at either location.

If your child is 4 or under, they do not need a ticket to enter.

Kids tickets are for ages 5-17 and cost $5 (kids tickets do not come with tulips, but tulips can be purchased for $1/stem).

Yes, portapotties are available on site for our visitors, including an accessible portapotty.  We also have handwashing stations.

No, but we can donate the tulips to a community organization for you or you can consider giving them as a gift or as a random act of kindness.

Our farms are wheelchair and stroller accessible as far as farms go. This means, there may be a bit of a walk on gravel from parking lot to fields, and soft or muddy, rocky ground between the tulip beds. In general, most visitors find the experience workable for strollers and wheelchairs.

If you are in a wheelchair, please indicate this to the parking attendants at the farm and they will direct you to the closest lot for you to park.

Yes, but if for some reason you have difficulty, one of our Field Assistants could help you when available.

While it's best for you to come at your assigned ticket time, if you are running late, you can visit us another time that day. However, you may have to wait if we are at capacity.  You do not need to contact us about running late or if you are coming at a different time on the same day.

To help us manage crowds, each entrance time slot is one half-hour long.  You must arrive at the farm within this half-hour window (ex: if you have a 12:30pm ticket, be sure to check-in between 12:30pm-1pm).  Once in the fields, you may stay for as long as you'd like, until our closing time at 7pm.

Tulips for Love & Hope Campaign

You can read more about this program here. Our Tulips for Love and Hope donation form accepts ominations during a portion of each year. Please fill out if you have a recommendation for a community organization. Our team will be in contact with you to confirm pick up.  Please note that tulips are not delivered, they must be picked up from the farm.

Please read about our #GivingBack programs that happen throughout the year here: https://wickedtulips.com/pages/tulips-for-love-hope

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

Yes! That is one of the best parts. We love seeing parents teach their kids how to take pictures in our fields, and it is a great backdrop for family, engagement, yearbook or any type of photos. We do have some guidelines that we ask you to follow.  See our photography guidelines here.

No. We do not allow any kind of props. Tripods are allowed, but no reflectors, light stands, props etc.  Please do not use tripods in high traffic areas and be respectful of other people and our delicate tulips.

We don't have photographers that we work exclusively with. You will need to contact the photographer of your choice and have them visit the website  https://wickedtulips.com/pages/photography-policy for scheduling information.

PRESTON, CONNECTICUT 382 Route 164 Preston, CT 06365

There is handicap parking available near the entrance to the field and there is a handicap port-a-john available. This is a farm, so although we are accessible, it is not always easy to maneuver. The farm is not paved; it can be uneven and muddy if wet. If you are up to off-roading in an electric wheelchair you should be fine;) Valid service dogs are welcome.

We have designated accessible parking spaces close by the entrance. These spaces are in our fields and could get muddy during wet circumstances. Please let one of our traffic team member know that you need a handicapped spot and they will help direct you.

We have large fields for you to park in which could get muddy. Please come with good walking shoes and do not take a fancy low sport car to this event. There are many New England rocks laying around, which are not suitable for low cars. If you come with a regular car, we do not expect it to get damaged or stuck, but parking is at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage and tow truck costs.

We have designated accessible parking spaces close by the entrance. These spaces are in our field and could get muddy during wet circumstances.

Yes you can with a regular vehicle. When it is extremely muddy, however, we cannot accommodate vans/buses because they get stuck easily. We never allow large buses close to our field.

Yes, you may bring snacks and rest and at one of our picnic tables while you enjoy them. Please be mindful of others and clean up after yourselves too.
We hope to have food trucks on the weekends.  Please subscribe to our email newsletter where we will announce all the special things happening this year.
There are some grassy areas around the tulip fields where you sit outside and enjoy a snack or rest in the sun. There will also be a few picnic tables available. Please be mindful and considerate of others and clean up after yourself too.

Adult ticket prices include 10 tulips. Each additional tulip is $1 per stem.

No, you do not need to bring scissors or clippers unless you want to. We do not provide them as they are not needed to pick. To pick, simply grasp the tulip stem as low as possible to the ground and pull up. This method allows you to get the longest stem possible. See this page for more details on how to pick a tulip at the farm.
No, we are just selling the flower. If the bulb comes up when you pick it, don’t worry, it can be snapped off at the wrapping station. If you are interested in purchasing bulbs, please visit our Online Store or the bulb tent at the U-Pick.
This is a definite no.  When you dig them up that early in the season, you damage the root system of that flower and all the tulips around it causing them to die.  Because the flower is being picked, the bulb won't get the nutrients it needs to grow.

No. Please do not put it back in the ground (yes, people do this). Once the tulip is picked, it is yours.  If you stick them back in the ground, they will die and this is a loss for us as a business. It’s like eating food and not paying for it and is one of the reasons we include tulips in the entrance price.

We will not be offering pre-picked bouquets. We want you to experience the fun of picking your own tulips!

You do not have to pick and are very welcome to simply come and enjoy the sights and sounds of a large tulip field. You will still be required to purchase a ticket which includes 10 tulips. If you do not want them, we will donate them for you or you could consider gifting them to someone or even giving them as a random act of kindness. We would not be able to do what we do and be a sustainable business if we did not charge entrance as we get thousands of visitors who just want to see the tulips and take pictures.

During the Fall we receive bulbs in plastic crates. Details on sizing, pricing and how to order bulb crates for farm  pick up is on this website page

Unfortunately we can't accommodate buses due to muddy, soft parking areas. Sorry, we also do not offer group tours or discounts per se.  As always, you can buy as many tickets as are available for any time slot or location, and join friends that way. We encourage you to subscribe to our email newsletter to get notifications of when tickets go on sale.

You may contact our team at teamtulip@wickedtulips.com about a larger group visiting on a weekday. We can occassionally accommodate this with advance arrangements.
